Happy Tuesday Morning to YOU! Here is my most recent #DearAlly segment, talking about local Internet Services, and why it's a good idea to look into this before purchasing in a specific area. Here are some highlights: Why is looking into internet services important? Especially in this day and age, many people are working remotely. Internet Services are usually something that gets looked over when looking for a property. Will that information be available in the disclosures? Unfortunately, no. This is not something that is disclosed to buyers. It's a great idea to talk to your broker, and have they ask the seller about what the internet is like in the area. What can I do to figure out what the service is like in my preferred area? You could use Broadband Now, and also Decision Data. You can plug in your zip code and check what works best in your area. What are some good choices when it comes to Internet and Cell Service? In our opinion- Xfinity and Century Link are great options for internet, and Verizon seems to be the preferred choice for cell phone providers in the area. Do you have a question for Dear Ally or want to know more about internet service in your local area, or anything Real Estate related? Text me at: 970-389-1234
